He was very honest. He lived very simple life.<br /><br />Later after death of Shahid Zia his wife Begum Khaleda Zia became prime minister of Bangladesh. Although she was also honest but her son Tarek Rahman and Arafat Rahman are accused for corruption after changing government.<br /><br />Now Tarek is into jail. Arafat was also arrested.
